PCBA Coating Process


PCBA glue filling is often used on the motherboard of washing machines and circuit boards that need to work in humid and corrosive environments. It has a very good waterproof effect. When performing the glue filling process in the PCBA process, you need to pay attention to the following matters.. When performing the glue filling process in the PCBA process, you need to pay attention to the following:


1. Choose a suitable glue: silicone and epoxy potting glue are commonly used. , at least understand the "operation c window time" and "curing time" parameters.
2. The temperature of PCBA before filling the glue tank needs to be approximately the same as the temperature of the glue.
3. The PCB that needs to be sealed must first be heated in a baking tunnel and baked to 50°C.
4. Excessive flux residue needs to be cleaned to keep the PCBA board surface clean.
5. It is best to inject glue into the glue box first, and then put the PCBA in it.
6. The ratio of polyurethane potting glue must be accurate. The two commonly used ratio methods are 100:50 and 100:74, which are all based on the performance of the glue.

When filling glue, it is easy to produce bubbles, which is a problem that needs to be paid attention to when filling PCBA glue.


There are three ways to fill PCBA glue:


1. Semi-automatic glue filling

When filling the PCBA with glue, place it next to the assembly line, manually put the PCBA under the glue outlet, turn on the switch, and the machine will automatically fill the glue, and stop automatically after filling. Then the operator can put the filled PCBA on the assembly line. The semi-automatic glue filling machine is suitable for all types of PCBA, regardless of size.


2. Equipped with a three-axis robot glue filling machine for filling

If there are mostly small PCBA°, the glue filling method is also very simple. Put the PCBA into a jig, then put the jig on the table of the glue filling machine, press start, and the machine will start filling the glue. After it is finished, it automatically stops, and then the operator takes the jig off the table, then puts the jig on another board to install the PCBA, press start, and this cycle, all the operator has to do is to put the jig. Press Start.


3. Fully automatic glue filling line

Place the entire jig equipped with PCBA on the conveyor line, and the machine will automatically fill the glue and automatically feed the material to the oven, saving manual processes and achieving high efficiency.
